Full moon festival

Another unique event, organized on the end of August/mid-September full moon in the magnificent Kritsa forest at an altitude of 1000 meters. It is organised by the Youth Department of the Cultural, Educational and Developmental Association of Kritsa. As expected, the event features traditional Cretan music, lots of fun and dancing until sunrise, traditional Cretan dishes and raki. One of the few summer events where a jacket will come in handy!
