Kritsa

Kritsa is located southwest of Agios Nikolaos, is the largest village of the prefecture and a former seat of the municipality. It is a place with particular folklore and archaeological interest, but also a rich historical past. The ancient city Lato, with its Byzantine churches, alleys, and residences of traditional architecture, travels visitors through time. Powerful even today, the town is a lovely place, ideal for strolling, and has many stores that sell local products and traditional handmade needleworks.
